A multi-use community room, numerous study rooms, and flexible and comfortable conference rooms will play a major role in the spatial and architectural complexions of this community-centered new Library. The metal screen structure creating a solar veil along the west face of the building will act as a visual bridge to the adjacent eclectic Lone Tree Arts Center.


With it’s striking contemporary design the new two-story Lone Tree Library is a wonderfullly progressive service model.  It will be 25,000 square feet, and features a covered porch that allows for a guest’s expansion into the outdoors to enjoy our wonderful Colorado climate.  


The new two-story, 25,000-square-foot contemporary design will embody Douglas County Libraries’ progressive service model and seamlessly connect our library guests to the surroundings. A covered porch entry will greet guests and allow them to expand their library experience outdoors, encouraging our library guests to connect with Colorado’s beautiful landscapes.
