The great room is grand and features a stone fireplace with an imposing and impressive stone mantel framed by windows that overlook the school yard of the renown Cory-Merrill Elementary and Middle Schools.

Openness is the rule of the design, with the great room and kitchen a quite generous space, both placed at the end of the entry foyer hallway.  The staircase and its striking wrought-iron railing is open to the room and adds yet another dimension to the appeal of the room.
